- i like this watch due to the green. i also like the retro watch face. however, the watch face scuffs and scratches fairly easily, which is blematic if you use the watch every day.

Invicta 3051 wrist watches news:
I just bought a rare LONGINES limited edition SWISSAIR EXCLUSIVE NO 3-L2.612.4.23.2 It's a 30 min.chronograph #1988 it has a 2894-1 31 jewel movement.all original.I'm gonna have the case buffed and movement oiled..all pushers work perfect and zeros out correct.I emailed longines and they told me it is a swissair no.3 l2.612.4.23.2 and it was released on 11-04-1994 and invioced solely to swissair open to offers.
I have a Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro, brand new, the rotor spins like crazy, is it suppose to do that? This and a recently purchased Viewmatic are my first and only Automatics, so I don't know how they are suppose to behave. The Viewmatic doesn't do this.
Back when I just needed a watch to wear casually, I stumbled upon a Jaques Lemans Geneva watch being sold here. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it was a good looking watch and was sold for pretty cheap($200), considering the tag listed as $1295 At the time I've had my eye on two watches, a Reymond Weil Tradition for Dress, and a Tissot Le Locle for Casual/Business Casual wear. I got the RW, and now I'm eyeing the Tissot. I've noticed that the gold plating on the JL has been fading and can't remove the plating or replate unless they take apart the piece (took it to Watch Central)So, I've been thinking hard. I still really like the Tissot but the JL isn't so bad either. And If I bought the Tissot, what would I do with the JL, when I only need 2 watches? The Tissot can be had for $330. Can anyone help me make a clear decision?
I'm thinking of buying an older Breitling chrono from the 1950's. No sure which model yet, my question is servicing these watches......any problem with getting them serviced or getting parts? Any thoughts pro or con would be appreciated.Lance
Hi All,My Mitsukoshi dial and hands will be arriving from Ofrei very shortly. Can anyone recommend some one in NYC to do this mod for me on my Speedmaster? I'm assuming the Omega Store/Service Center on 5th avenue would have no part of that.....Thanks
