Seiko SUP171 wrist watches news:
Stopped a couple hours after taking it off the wrist and can barely wind. Is not the first time this happened and I use the chronograph on occasion but only for few minutes. Anyone have these issues with 44?
Happy Holidays to everyone!I got new AP as early Christmas preset, wanted to share some pictures. Not very popular one but its not that bad, I really excited to add it to my offshore collection. Enjoy the pictures!Wishing You All a New Year filled with happiness, peace, joy and more APs!!!
So recently, I have been bitten by the Breitling bug. I've long considered Breitlings (in general) a bit garish, with many references being so large in diameter, many having large, blocky numbers/fonts, etc. But as time marches on, I find my opinion softening, and as of late, I find myself becoming more attracted to certain references. In particular, I am really gravitating towards the Navitimer and the Bentley 6.75. Generally speaking, I see plenty of love for the Navitimer, but not much so for the Bentley series of watches. Is there a reason for that? I suppose some find them a bit gimmicky, and to be honest, I could care less about the connection with the luxury car line - I simply enjoy the look of this model. Curious to know thoughts from the Breitling faithful and hopefully, owners of either reference.
I just went in to look as a courtesy. Truly. I love the idea of a moon phase watch. I mean, it's just a super cool complication. But I'm gravitating towards smaller watches lately. That's not to say I don't admire larger size watches. I do. I just seem to be wearing my 39 or 40 mm watches. And all the reviews I've read state that this watch is BIG. I knew I was not going to like it. I was wrong. And it really doesn't feel big. In fact, on leather, it's downright butter on the wrist. Crazy comfortable. The looks just blew me away as I find it extremely attractive. i think it's the smallish lugs that make it wear smaller than it is. I wore it to sleep last night and I barely felt it on. And the lume was surprisingly strong for my nightly 2:00 ritual. Its definitely very thick, but I don't seem to notice that either. I'm 99% of the time with my sleeves rolled up anyway, so it's not a huge issue. Regardless of it all, and the fact that I continuously surprise myself with my ever evolving p
I¡¯ve never been much of a stickler for this but many postings on TRF made me think: hmmm, how well is my beautiful BLNR doing in the accuracy department?I was stunned. I expected it to be great but, to me, this is insanely great. 128 days between settings (I had to change my 24 hour GMT hand yesterday because most of the U.S. went on daylight savings time and my home time zone jumped ahead one hour).Summary: 44 seconds gained over 128 days = ~ 1/3 of a second a day.
