I'm heading to Clearwater Florida for some fun in the sun in a few weeks, and I've been looking for an inexpensive beater with some bright colors to take along on the trip during which I'll be doing some inshore fishing. A few days ago I ran across this new Invicta Grand Diver model called the Yacht Timer. I comes in Orange, Blue, Brown, and Yellow dials, which is the one I ordered last night. The dial has a cool wave motif very similar to an Omega SMP. I really like the shape of the hands all of which are lumed, and the raised Arabic numerals. It also has an alarm feature, which should come in handy while traveling. New transocean chrono?
I'm thinking of selling my Grand Seiko SBGE001 to pick up the new transocean chrono. Do we have any owners out here? Does it wear consistent with it's size? How is the strap? It looks quite thick in the pictures so I wonder about it's flexibility and comfort.How is the resale value on these things? I don't see many second hand which leads me to wonder whether they are being sold or if people just love them so much they aren't on the market.
