Hey Gang!Back from a little trip overseas and have been waiting for a little something to show you all!For years, I have been looking for a rugged case for my watches. I went nuts looking all over the web and couldn't find something that would keep them dry, shock resistant and protected from just about everything I throw at them.About a month ago, I came across a little website called "Custom Case Designs" that makes custom cases for guns, electronics and just about anything else you would want to protectHummmm? Watches????After talking with Douglas, we hashed out some prototypes in different sizes and configurations. I was "shocked" when the final products arrivedtake a look!Custom Case Designs is now a proud sponsor of WTFtell them you are a member if you order!(CHECK OUT THEIR BANNER)Watch Cases : Custom Case Designs, Your home for pistol, camera, cigar, computer and watch casesHere are some pix of 3 cases: Suitcase 54 watchesBriefcase 32 watchesSmall Case 12 watchesSUITCASE:This o
Hi everybody, this is my first post on the Hamilton Forum. I'm thinking of buying a Hamilton Khaki Navy / GMT watch (reference H77615133) since I saw it for the first time and because I want to move on from collecting another "swiss" brand (Invicta) which has given me recently a lot of troubles and worries, so I wanted to ask you some questions about these models and the Hamilton brand in general. Hopefuly you'll help me to make up my mind 'cause I'm not 100% sure about the model I like the most of this brand.1- Comparing the two brands mentioned above, and trying to be objective, do you think that Hamilton is a better constructed and finished watch? I've never had one in my hands, only pictures so far, but what I've seen makes me think so, that this watches are something else beyond the cheese.2- Is the Khaki Navy / GMT a rugged watch, capable of becoming a daily beater and withstand some abuse?3- Is the inner bezel lumed or at least the 12 o'clock mark? I use the bezel a lot
I have several balances from Hamilton 980/982s with broken staffs. Is there a tool made to remove the old staff? I have some replacements but haven't been able to pull out a broken one without mangleing the balance. This is a case where my "Bigger Hammer School" degree isn't proving useful. hopefully the right tool will help. Thanks, Joel
Hello All,I have posted a couple of times on here already but thought it would be good to introduce myself and my watches.I am relatively new to Rolex - have just recently got hold of a Sub ss date - and a Milgauss (white) - definitely have the bug and am in love with the brand - not good for the wallet but hehI've always enjoyed spending not saving & my wife only encourages me! I am now saving for the YM Steel/Platinum. We are traveling through Singapore in Dec so I will be looking at the airport there Anyway: here are some pics of my watches - I am NO photographer - but have had a quick goThe Omega PO is another big favorite - and I have just put the black rubber on the white faced Tag aquaracer and love that look - let me know what you think..Great to be on here - look forward to lots of time discussing beautiful watches!!!Dalip
