Ok, before I begin, I'll start with a disclaimer this is 100% my opinion and is based on my personal supposition. However, anyone else think the LV is here to stay - at least another few years? Here's my logic. The new M series LV's have the ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX engraving. However, the GMT II's and Sea-Dweller M series do not. It seems to me the go-forward models all got the rehaut engraved and the ones falling out of the catalog didn't. So that would leave me to believe the LV's gonna be around awhile Which is A-OK with me.. Actually, I really like the rehaut engraving & wish my LV had it.. Any thoughts?

Super Oyster Bracelet or Oyster Bracelet for Seiko Watch
I would like to put an Oyster style bracelet on my watch. Has anyone done it before? The original bracelet was too rough around the edges. So I took it out and put a CF strap. I have always fancied the Oyster type bracelets and would like to put one on the watch. Anyone know where I can find one for the Seiko. I need a 20mm wide bracelet for my SNZD71K1.Thanks

Waltham 18s Pocket watch Help
Here's a couple of picks of an old waltham pocket watch a freind gave me, He knows I love watches, But I'm not familiar with pocket watches and can't really find out much about it. Any help would be great...Age of production and so forth. :) thanks everyone! The back case also has a locomotive on it, My real question is would it be worth restoring? At the moment I think the mainspring is toast, it just winds and winds :(

I have the feeling that many interests come together with others. For example usually people whom I know who like paragliding are also interested in scuba diving or surf or skydiving. Now I have a list of interests which I think might be related by some mysterious rope to watches. May I ask how many of you:(1.) Use fountain pens;(2.) Smoke pipes;(3.) Shave with straight razor;(4.) Is a wine (or Whisky or Cognac) connoisseur.If, as I suspect, some relation come out from these questions can any of you tell me why should these things be related?GLF
