Chopard 168526-3001 wrist watches news:
Hi,I just got a used GMT master 11. Its great, but running 7 seconds fast - not too bad - but I thought I'd get it regulated. Do you think it could be made more accurate? I spoke to one watcmaker on the phone who -without even seeing the watch (!) basically said "no its too old, that's the best you will get"What do you think? Thanks.
...please do not take this as a shilling...I really tried and even asked some esteemed moderators, no luck thus far.I am selling this watch for my dad and dad-being-dad, misplaced all the booklets and cards. I have this watch listed up for auction but cannot find its proper model number. I have already received some serious interest about the watch, but I can't answer the questions about the exact model number.Your help will be greatly appreciated.T.I.A !!M.
I'm shopping for a pre-owned 5127J, and I'm looking for thoughts on where to shop and who I can trust.I've found online listings on Chrono24 and other high profile sites, but I don't have a high level of comfort with some of the sellers. I don't know if I can trust the descriptions, etc.--and I don't want to play buy-it-return-it games. I've also kept an eye out in the For Sale section on this site.I'm in the mid-Atlantic on the east coast, so I think there'd be options to find a good seller/dealer and conduct the sale face-to-face, but I don't know where to start. I did see one listed with Tarrytown Jewelers in New York. Are they reputable?Any suggestions on how else I can expand my search?Thank you.Cheers,LS
So I have made the decision to get another strap, after the first one is a bit too snug.Just wondering about balancing the watch and clasp - do you have the same number of bars on each side, or more on the 12 oclock compared to the 6 oclock side?Any feedback appreciated.
Any guesses on where this one will sell today? Low-end estimate is about $15m, but with all the hype the watch has gotten coupled with the owner dying yesterday (which sort of adds to the story), I think it will hit $18m. What do you guys think?
