The screws are used to finely adjust the mechanism. If the duration of each oscillation of the balance needs to be shortened, milling miniscule amounts of metal from the screws¡¯ heads can reduce their weight. The opposite result can be achieved by inserting tiny washers. It has an anonymous Japanese automatic movement that hacks. Explorer1 over polished?
HelloThis is my first post on this forum and I would like some opinions regarding the polishing level of an Explorer.I am considering on purchasing an Explorer 1. The seller says that they have polished the watch but I am worried that it might be over polished. According to the pics that the seller has posted up, the reflections in the bezel seem to be skewed a little? I am not sure if this is normal or if its due to bad polishing.I would appreciate it if someone could provide some insight. Thank you in advance.
