Hi,First of all, sorry if this has been asked before.I'll be on the hunt for a new Omega soon, as my SMP was stolen when my house was burgled recently.I'll no doubt be given vouchers by the insurance company to buy a new watch and as such was wandering if (in your experience) any of the high street AD's give discounts if pushed?I purchased the original from watches of Switzland in Birmingham. I'm not sure if the insurance will insist I purchase from them again, hence why I'm asking if any AD's offer a discount.I'll be asking anyway, but I thought I'd get a heads up from the UK based members here.Thanks in advance,Jon

Confused with respect to movements ETA, Valjoux, Calibre 16?
I know the Tag's use the Calibre movement's, and that several other watches use the ETA and Valjoux movements. I have read that the 7750 movement is the same basically as the Calibre 16? I am VERY confused wrt the movements, and could use a crash course. That may be impossible, but would like to learn about them.Is the Calibre 16 just the name Tag uses for the same Valjoux 7750 movement? Is one better than the other?

Everybody loves showing of their new pristine time pieces. And everyone savors those ��incoming photos��, including myself. Well, here��s some pics of what a real world BLNR looks like. I��ve had this for going on 3years and wear it about 70% of the time switching out between my other watches. I manage apartment buildings that I own but am mostly in the office half the day and don��t do much of the hands on maintenance (but not afraid to get my hands dirty). This comes from normal everyday wear and I don��t take it off for any manual labor. This is just a lesson for those new watch owners and what expect with normal watch wear. Wear it, enjoy it. Opinions are like wrist watches...everyone's watch shows a different time from others, but everyone believes that their time is correct.
