AAAA11A1 (A = Letters and 1 = Numbers)On the back of the watch, there is a series of numbers as follows (all in one line)1A11-11A1 A1 AA Another is1111-A-Aand lastly 1A11AI am trying to figure out which is my Model Number, Serial Number, and Case Number.Model number needs to be 6, Serial number needs to be 6 and Case number needs to be 8.Thank you for your help!Max.

When do AD's get their allotment?
So, I have placed a special order for a 5712 with an AD and I was told they sold one in February and that a few are coming in soon. My question is does PP ship out their allotments of 5711's, 12's etc. at the beginning and end of the year? Or is it sporadic?

Fellow Patek Enthusiasts,My name is George. I have been recently reading the Patek forum in anticipation of adding a Patek. I have seen many of your great pieces, and appreciate your vast collective knowledge of Patek. I am wondering if you could offer me your brief advice on my potential purchase(s) based on the following summary.I live a fairly casual lifestyle. I own my own company, and rarely dress formally ( rare charity events, weddings and funerals). I have many watches, but seem to wear my Rolex DeepSea the most as it seems to fit my lifestyle. The Pateks that I'm drawn to are the 5167A, 5130G/P, and of course the 5270 and it's predecessors in J/R. I have never spent more than 10K for a watch, so this is new territory for me. I don't view myself as a potential collector. I intend to buy what I love, and what I will wear. At the same time, I want to be prudent in my acquisitions.I plan to move on a 5167A soon, but am already plotting my next move!Any advice would be greatly
