I like the thrill of the search and finding a rare item, as well as the system used to win auctions or purchase items. eBay is a wonderful resource, and I recommend it as a tool for everyone, regardless of whether you buy or sell. As such, I like to take the opportunity every once in a while to share tips and thoughts on using eBay based on my years of experience.Today I am going to talk about the "reserve" price. My newest Hamilton has arrived 24 hours after it was ordered.This is a tough model to find at stores so ,after fruitless searches around Mass. I went online,got a good price,and couldn't be happier with the watch.I was looking at some vintage pieces but,truth be told,I don't wear the few that I have now because I'm afraid to do the old souls harm with normal wear.I settled on the next best thing-a watch from the American Classic series.The Hamilton Brooke:The lines and finishing on the case are fantastic.It definately has a sculpted look and feelIt has a feature that the original models never had-an exhibition back.The dial work is subtle,but very art deco looking (something that I normally don't like but this one has a high "funk factor" that appeals to me)and the wrist shot

Hey Panerai lovers!Today I joined the club. It was a difficult 2 weeks I had to wait but today I collected my Pam 312 and what a beauty. I immediately swapped the strap once home, yes I already had bought a strap even before I got the watch, to the one shown in the picture....and what a joy it is to swap straps! Well done to panerai for coming up with this smart solution. Sorry I didn't do any unboxing pictures etc but I was just too excited!If I don't mind saying so myself, but it looks amazing on this strap. Love it. I'm just lost for words. When I tried it on in the AD I wasn't in love with it as much as I am now. That's not to say I didn't love it then too, otherwise why would I get it, right lol....Wore it and went to my sisters house and got comments by family immeditely about how they like it. No one did that with my Hulk. Maybe the size of this thing says 'Oi, look at me!' No, I just think putting it on this strap makes the dial pop and stand out more. I love the OEM alligator

Has Rolex got this wrong?
So, as the title asks, has Rolex got this wrong?Why haven't they responded to the price in the grey market? This is another form of natural selection (if rather tenuous). I want a room or suite at Four Seasons I pay for it.I fly first, or at the very least business, transatlantic I pay for it. I choose a PP5711, or AP 5202 I pay for it.I want a 116500, I want a 126710 I pay for it.Is Rolex undercharging? I'd happily pay the premium to have good availability at AD's. I own both the above watches, Rolex is in a different category for me, they require a fraction of the maintenance and are more accurate, for me they are number one. Who else has any thoughts.
