Chopard 168331-3009 wrist watches news:
Hi,I just got a used GMT master 11. Its great, but running 7 seconds fast - not too bad - but I thought I'd get it regulated. Do you think it could be made more accurate? I spoke to one watcmaker on the phone who -without even seeing the watch (!) basically said "no its too old, that's the best you will get"What do you think? Thanks.
This was the Boston Globe's Home of the Week today: boston/realestate/gallery/homeoftheweek/042411/It was built in 1892 for Frank Wetherbee, the dial foreman at the Waltham Watch Factory, and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.Makes you wonder what the owners' houses looked like!
I was trying on an Aqua Terra chronograph GMT and I think it's one of the nicest looking watches out there. If they could add the GMT to the plain old Aqua Terra it would have been mine.It got me thinking if anyone really actually uses the chronograph, or is it just one of those things that's cool to have?
Does anyone have an opinion on this watch? Bailey's has it for US$2,300 but didn't know if it is even any good or anything else about it other than it caught my eye. I'd appreciate any opinions anyone has!
