Chopard 8459 wrist watches news:
Each year, Seiko holds a contest called the Power Design Project. I don't know all the details, but I believe it involves a contest among Seiko designers (and maybe other designers as well) in Japan to design cool new concept watches. Often times, many of the designs are very sober and classic - less wildly futuristic. Seiko actually produces some of the winning designs each year. Most of these pieces are limited in production and only sold in Japan, but you can get them online. One of my favorite Power Design Project watch models from the last few years that was actually produced is this Ref. SBPP003 (white dial) or SBP001 (black dial). It looks like a combo between a sport Seiko, Tag Heuer Carrera, and an Omega Speedmaster. It is quite thin at about 10mm thick, and 40mm wide (in steel). The dial comes in black or white - each matched to a black bezel. The piece is handsome and easy to like. Nothing wild here, save for a nicely polished design with both modern and vintage looking accent
Like the title says. I just purchased a Lum tec here from another member and it has a black dial. I was planning on puttin a brown strap on it but on another forum when i posted that someone said that is a no no. What do you think?
I am getting an itch to add a new piece to the collection. I currently own an early version B-1 (non-super quartz) with black dial. I am contemplating adding either another B-1 Superquartz or Airwolf with a blue dial (2009 model with stripe texture on dial, not the radial pattern). I think most people seem to prefer the B-1 over the Airwolf, but I like the Airwolf and think it would add something a little different to my collection since I already own a B-1. I am also possibly considering an Aerospace, but I think I like the chronograph buttons on the case of the B-1 and Airwolf. I also love the turbine case back on the B-1 and Airwolf. But, I don¡¯t own a titanium watch and the Aerospace is starting to grow on me. I am curious as to what the forum members would do in my situation. Thanks in advance for the contribution! Guy
I'm actively shopping for my first Breitling. I currently wear an Omega Seamaster Professional as an everyday watch.I found one I like; a 2 tone Navimeter II, with a steel grey face and white sub-dials at 6, 9 and 12, so I guess it's a little older ? The guy at the shop thought maybe 4-6 years old and that was all he offered. It also has gold Arabic numbers, gold bezel and gold hands.OK, my questions would be are rarer color dials worth any more than the blue, black and white you see more often? Does the steel bracelet add value over leather or an exotic band? Is 2 tone worth more than all stainless? It appears roman and Arabic numbers are less common, any value there? The watch is perfect, looks brand new, I think it's a good deal. Maybe not great. As a newbie it's hard for me to compare values on different watches I have seen over the last 30 days. I'll have to say this is the most striking and different watch I have seen from the dozens I have looked at in Vegas and here in Sco
Got my new Panerai 352, could not be more pleased. Erik Szper provided superb service -- I recommend him without a single reservation.
