I know Rolex is different, but with mechanical watches in general, what if you accidentally change the date between the hours of 8p-3a a few times? Does it really ruin the watch? I only ask because people's opinions on this matter seem to vary...

My wife bought me my first Rolex about 4 years ago, a pre-owned DateJust 16234 from our jeweler who is also a Rolex AD. I have really enjoyed this watch. The following year we bought a pre-owned SD 16600 Y serial which was a trade-in at this same store.Fast forward 2 years, I have bought 2 brand new rolexes from the same store a couple weeks ago. I wanted an everyday work watch that fits into my work environment. Something low key, not too flashy, not too big, not too
