Omega 6480721 wrist watches news:
Hi guys,I have a good friend who has this watch and no idea as to exactly what it is? When it's from? or what it's worth should he sell it?Any ideas?Sorry about the crappy photos!I think it's a Cal 344 "Bumper" movement?
Hi Forum Members,We have uncovered about 24 watches from my great-grandfather's store and are trying to determine the best avenue for selling them. I would greatly appreciate your insight. The bulk of the watches are Elgin and Hamilton, both men's and ladies'. They are in their original cases inside the retailers boxes with price tags, manufacturer's labels, and many also have the original guarantee paperwork. Some are gold fill and others are gold plate. The original retail prices range from $39-$100. Please see the photos below for just a sample of what we have.In addition, there are some loose watch parts and a few railroad pocket watches. Thanks in advance your help!
Stopped by an inside yard sale (HUH??) and found these two watches. Don't know if they're worth anything, but for $3.00 for both (!), I figured I had nothing to lose. One is a (What I presume to be) mens Bulova. The dial is damaged, but the blue hands are iintriguing. It runs fast, gaining about 4 minutes in an hour. I like the look of this watch. The other one is a ladies Gruen Precision and this one keep very good time, having only gained a minute since I set it nearly 24 hours ago. My wife likes this one. However, the band is very small and won't even fit over my wrist. Don't know if they even makes bands for this type of watch anymre.Anyone know the year/era these are from? I assume the Bulova is from @ the 1930's, no?
Hey everyone I seen these two sites on here before and looking to catch a good deal, wondering if others have had success on these (pics are nice) and if there are other sites like these day sales sites id like to know thanks.
Have they raised the prices across the board and not just the 5711 and 5712? The prices of the 5726 on the internet seemed to have jumped so I was curious if everything jumped?
