Hi!First of all, I would like to say hello to all the people at WTF, I have been reading these forums for some time now, thank you for giving so much information and interesting reading to all the people who stops by here. Now, I¡äm going to buy my first watch, I am thinking on buying a Lum Tec, most likely an automatic or mechanical. Would this be a good choice? I know- Its all about people opinions. But on the paper, the build-quality, the specs, how is it holding up? Again, thanks to everyone! :)
Here you are Cheers,Ron

Howard from TZ has done a nice interview with AP's new CEO to clarify many post-SIHH doubts and speculations circulated in the Web lately. Amongst all doubts, it is confirmed that FC will NOT be discontinued (YES!!), and the blue dial 15400 & ROC will go boutique-only, which will make them very exclusive! There is also a clearer insight about AP's short & long term strategy towards pricing and retailer network. Overall a great interview... and I believe AP is in good hand for better sustainable growth

At first, I couldn't believe why anyone would want this rather plain-looking VERY EXPENSIVE SS watch. I had never even held one, so went to see what it was all about. The funny part is that the 5711 was covered in plastic wrap, so when I first looked at it, I decided it was too dull and underwhelming. Nothing spoke to me. My friend with me also agreed it was just dull. Then the dealer took off the wrap, and I could hear opera, you know, arias streaming from the blue dial. It was like magic, the twinkling of the indexes. That's all it took, and I got hooked. My friend changed his opinion 180 degrees, a
