Hi!First of all, I would like to say hello to all the people at WTF, I have been reading these forums for some time now, thank you for giving so much information and interesting reading to all the people who stops by here. Now, I��m going to buy my first watch, I am thinking on buying a Lum Tec, most likely an automatic or mechanical. Would this be a good choice? I know- Its all about people opinions. Amongst all doubts, it is confirmed that FC will NOT be discontinued (YES!!), and the blue dial 15400 & ROC will go boutique-only, which will make them very exclusive! We will also see some changes to the RC in the near future as it will be 're-imagined'... Very interesting! There is also a clearer insight about AP's short & long term strategy towards pricing and retailer network. I got hooked on the 5711, and the one I am considering is from 2006, but recently overhauled/polished by PP 2 months ago. It's 9 years old with the screws bracelet. Has complete papers, with overhaul statement. Even the mail-in paper to register it with PP. The recent overhaul is a big plus factor, I think.I was wondering if there would be any benefits to wait and try to find a newer one? The funny part is that the 5711 was covered in plastic wrap, so when I first looked at it, I decided it was too dull and underwhelming. Nothing spoke to me.
