Seiko SSA183 wrist watches news:
What is there to say? After Aurel Bacs and the Phillips team proved that one of the least-cool watches in the world could indeed be cool on Saturday night with the Day-Date sale, expectations were high but tempered for Sunday night's Geneva Watch Auction: One, a multi-brand, multi-owner sale encompassing everything from modern, still-in-production JLC's to piece-unique vintage Pateks. The entire sale netted $25.2 million (combined with the Day-Date sale, the weekend pulled in over $31m), and four watches hammered over 1m CHF, including a stainless-steel Patek that brought down $5m on its own. Let's break the sale down for you. Stainless-Steel Patek Philippe Mono-Pusher Chronograph Becomes The Most Expensive Steel Ever Sold, And The Third Most Expensive Wristwatch Ever 1 OF 10 A few weeks back, I wrote a story that there were four watches in this sale that could, and should break $1m. Hi. I've inherited an unusual Instantime watch which has a pretty strange mechanism...I've actually posted about it before. It's not financially valuable but has huge sentimental attachment, and so I was hoping to get it working again. Does anyone know of someone who might fancy taking on an unusual repair job in the UK, preferably South? I took it to a couple of places in Oxford and they drew blanks! Thought I might find something a bit more specialist in here!
hi pals, i just got this version of the oem rubber band for my F1, it comes in the limited Kimi edition, it looks cool, i love it, the red accent makes it pop and match the red detailing on the dial.enjoy the picsMENTS!!!
Hi, I'm in the market for a new watch to add to my collection and have decided I quiet like the Panerai PAM01352. In the UK they are $7000 but looking on Chrono24 you can get them for $5750. I have a friend in NYC coming over to the UK in August, do you guys have any advice re buying Panerai over in the USA. Has anyone bought from watchmaxx in Brooklyn or Jomashop?
Hi all,I recently got some watch tools and was messing around opening casebacks of my watches and looking/taking pics of the movements. But for the milgauss does anyone know what size opener I will need? The largest one I have is 29.5mm (which basically opens all rolexes) Thanks!
