Newly Aquired Waltham!
Dear friends,I just recently won an auction for a Waltham Wrist Watch, I am currently just beginning the hobby of watch collecting and this will be my first vintage. I am researching Waltham as we speak, I am not too famillar with the company besides what I am finding on google, I purchased the watch because it looks great, and seems to be in good condition. I am posting a link to the auction, If any one of you decides to take a look for me, would you mind letting me know If I paid a fair price ? Removing watch movement from case.
I would like to remove the movement from my Illinois Viking wristwatch movememnt from its case for inspection. I am baffled. As most of you probably know it has a three piece case with the #307 movement. Usually I am able to easily remove the stem and drop out the movement. I am I missing something obvious? Usuall it is a matter of loosening a screw and pulling the stem out. I don't see a screw! Help me with this please. Also the stem wobbles and I am wondering if I have a broken stem or if there is supposed to be some sort of bushing in the stem tube.Can anyone help?

Look What I Found (omega constellation)
Hey guys,I found this vintage Omega Constellation in a old suitcase. It belonged to my grandfather. I took it to an Omega dealer to inquire what it would cost me to repair and restore this watch. He said it would be upwards of $1000 and it's almost not worth it. I just came on here to get a second opinion. It is not in working condition and the dial seemed to have moved somehow. The dealer did open up the back and confirm the authencity of the watch. What would you guys do with this watch? Any advise is appreiated.

Photoshop Concept Rolex
Over the years I have PS several Concept Rolex. Models I have in mind. I think, I must not the only one, some one the forum must have thought about some models that is not on the market that might have a potential.Why not gather them all in one place?Maybe Rolex design team have interest to take a peek. I'll start with my own creation. Hopefully some members can follow as well and keep this thread going and going.
