I was just browsing through some Zenith watches (they so pretty!) and noticed the number of open faced watches they have. I don't think I'm a real fan of the look. Don't get me wrong, I love looking at a nice movement and appreciate the craftsmanship. But I just don't know about how they look as part of the face.I know a lot of people do like them, but was wondering how many felt like I do?

Panerai PAM236 or Breguet XXI
Hi all,I'm about to buy a watch but can't really decide which one. I've been having some favorites. The Panerai PAM 236 or the Breguet XXI w steel bracelet. But I have a hard time to decide which one is the best. In a way the Panerai seems to be the best choice. Big, robust, steel, good looking. But, the Breguet is a bit smaller but good looking. Also, less people knows the brand (which is pretty good since I don't want to look like I'm bragging or something).The Panerai uses a modified Valjoux and the Breguet has an inhouse movement. Thats also in favour for the Breguet. But the size and bracelet of the Panerai is really in favor that one.Anyone have any perspectives on these watches? Or maybe another similar watch?Cheers,Dan

so, i might have been a little bored tonight..I've always wondered why watch makers with such precision haven't cared to align the crown perfectly with the case. It honestly doesn't bother me, but noticing that my crown lines up with the case is a major bonus Please post pics, How does your crown line up? Cheers all
