I¡¯m excited to announce that RedSea Watches will officially be calling Watch Talk Forums home! In the near future we will be starting up a dedicated RedSea Watches forum, but we wanted to say hello and introduce ourselves first.About UsMy start-up partner, Troy, and I are a couple of Midwest guys. I grew up on a small farm in Minnesota and Troy grew up in Iowa. We both moved to the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area where we¡¯ve settled down with our small families¡­.and by small, we mean we both had newborns when we started this journey! Well, they¡¯ve since grown to be a couple of crazy fun two year olds and the addition of my son four months ago had made things really interesting. Needless to say, we have very supportive wives . Just wondering is it acceptable to use a quartz watch's time as the benchmark for seeing if your self winding watch is gaining or losing seconds?I know that using an atomic clock off the net is the usual way.
