Baume & Mercier MOA10020 wrist watches news:
Zenith has just announced that three of its most complicated watches, which premiered this year in new case materials, are now available – and we had a chance recently to go hands-on with the new models, and gather some first impressions of these very exotic and very rarely seen timepieces. The new models are a limited edition platinum version of the Zenith Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane Georges-Favret Jacot, and titanium versions of the Academy Georges Favret-Jacot (with fusée and chain) and the El Primero Tourbillon. 1 OF 12 Above, Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane Georges Favret-Jacot in platinum The Academy Georges Favret-Jacot was launched, as we reported last year, for the firm’s 150th anniversary and is named for Zenith’s founder, Georges Favret-Jacot, who founded the firm in Le Locle in 1865 at the age of 22. VERY quick to try it out...On my way to Dave Mathews Band concert tonight...take A LOT more pics with this thing later...:D
I'm doing a little debating between the 15300 and 15400, like I'm sure many have before me. I do not live in an area that has an AP dealer nearby so I'm flying a bit blind. There are several threads that already cover people's preference so I'm not looking to reboot that, but does anyone have advice for me with my inability to actually try one on?I guess I could always wait until I travel to a city with an AD but I even then I'm not guaranteed to run across either one of those models. Has anyone ever purchased one blindly and then flipped to the other because of size preference?
I am due to take delivery of my 5235 shortly and just wanted to know how some of the other owners of this reference find this watchhow is the dial and movement - are they both up to Patek standard?do the case proportions makes sense or is it a bit too thick?is it easy to tell them time (both due to the regulator and the fact that the dial is very shiny.Has anyone ever regretted buying one - if show why?Would be good to hear first hand user experience.Thks
Loved the black gator that came with my 112 but was so excited for a brown leather ammo strap and after all the great reviews and recommendations regarding Micah I ordered a Z-Matten when I picked up my Pam112 a few weeks ago. Arrived yesterday and here is the result
