Dumb question, Im looking to give a Breitling watch as a gift whats the cheapest model can I buy? I rather stay below 3K if its possible. Any Model ideas? ? Thanks

UK importing laws
I was wondering if anyone had any information or prior experience on the laws of importing Rolex watches into the UK? I know there¡¯s an import tax but I couldn¡¯t find any information on a limit on the number of watches that can be brought in at a time. I¡¯m aware of a one watch policy when it comes to bringing watches into America but I¡¯m not sure if this goes both ways. So basically I¡¯m wondering, what¡¯s the import tax, is there a watch limit, and how strictly is it enforced? Thanks!

20 year old submariner stops ticking
hi folks,I have a 1998 submariner, 16610. It served me well for the past 2 decades.I bought it brand new from A/D.This morning I noticed it had stopped ticking since I had not worn it in a week.I wound it up and got nothing. The 2nds hand will not move forward.If you look closely at the 2nds hands, it seems to be struggling to move forward but can not.The watch was not abused or dropped or subjected to shock. Not now, not in the last 20years of ownership. It jut died, kind of like an old man.Also, the watch has never been serviced.So can someone tell me how severe this problem appears to be? What on the insides of the machinery might be causing this?thank you

Hi all,The following is my small watch collection: (1) A vintage 1980s Rolex DateJust with a white diamond Jubilee dial on a black letter strap. This was a gift from my wife. I generally wear this with a suit and black dress shoes.(2) An IWC 544401 Regulateur. This was a grail watch for a while. I generally wear it with brown dress shoes, both with a suit and jeans. (3) An early 2000s Tag Carrera on a steel bracelet. This was my daily watch for almost a decade. I would like to replace the Tag and create either a three or four piece rotation. The wifey has approved 8 - 10k budget for this endeavor. After a lot of research (and a few vetoes from the wife), I've narrowed my options down to the following: Rolex BLNR Batman (~$9k). I would buy this new as preowned is just as expensive, if not more. I love the look of this watch, as well as the GMT functionality. This would make a great all-purpose watch.Preowned Rolex Ceramic No Date Submariner 114060 (~$6k) AND a preowned Omega Speedmaster
