TAG Heuer Aquaracer Quartz

I feel like I have the perfect combination of 2 watches. Do you?
I was thinking about it today, that of all the Rolexes I could have ever bought, I really have my favorite two for the money I paid. They are the perfect combination for me and my life.The black dial Daytona and the grey/silver colored YM. The Daytona had the black dial which I love, those cool subdials look sporty and I like sport, the watch has a bit if cache/panache factor due to it's slight rarity, is tough as nails, and I love the way it looks on my wrist - the most important part.The SS/Plat YM is still a sport watch which works perfect for me since I rarely ever have to dress up for work or play, is a very different color than the Daytona due to it's overall silverish tone, has the cool platinum bezel - the only Rolex sport watch in that category, uses the funky, bright red sweep hand - the polar opposite to the tiny sweep hand on the Daytona, it has a cyclops vs no cyclops on the Daytona, and again, it looks great on my wrist, to me. My Watch Talk Forums (i spelled it out this time) watch came back and is running great.The hands stoped moving and James put me in touch with Richard Zimmermann watch repair.They were very nice and did a good job.Thanks for pointing in the right dirrection to get it fixed.Brian

What happens with most your other watches when you go Patek?
Just curious what you guys do.Doesn't necessarily have to be Patek, but basically a luxury high end watch that you work hard to purchase.When I purchased my First Rolex, no other watch got any wrist time.I just couldn't justify keeping the Rolex at home as she could be used as a beater, a dressy, a sporty watch.PP is a whole other league.I know it won't make my Rolex redundant, as she is still the perfect beater, but I am curious. How can your earlier watch purchases get any wrist time when you pull the trigger on high end watches like the Patek?Do you downsize to a smaller collection with more quality?Or keep them as still wear them at times?

Used Explorer 114270 vs New 214270 (2016)
Hello all:I haven't posted in ages (and have only posted a time or two). Thanks for all the informative advice to others that I have found useful as well.I've come out of the shadows because I'm now in the market for an Explorer 114270 or 214270, and would like some feedback. I like smaller watches, around 36mm, and have my eye on an 114270, but have begun to wonder how many links the bracelet would need to fit my 7.5 in. wrist. So many used 114270 don't come with all of the links. Should I be looking for one with a minimum of 11 links, 12 links? Also, how about service history? If it's running at COSC standards, should I worry about service history? What should I look out for with a watch that is 15+ years old?Finally, with these concerns in mind, would I just be better off buying a new 214270? Cost aside, does the 39mm version wear all that much bigger? I tried on an Explorer and Datejust 36mm at an AD and really liked the 36mm DJ. But that was a DJ and not an Explorer. So I'm not s
