Ebel E 9750L62 wrist watches news:
Press release - dedicated to the inventor of the first "writer time" for the first of its own first-calibre, Montblanc has created a chronograph of historic proportions, the name of the inventor of the chronograph: Nicolas Rieussec, who, in 1821, developed a watch with rotating dials in which an ink marker attached to the fixed index wrote the downtime. For the first time, this has allowed the time finishing of individual horses at horse of the time. The invention was considered as so ingenious that it gave the chronograph its name: "chronos" for the time and "graphein" to "writing". Technique of Rieussec of two rotating disks has inspired the new Montblanc Star Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph, and this has been integrated in a unique masterpiece of chronographic watchmaking with barrels of binoculars and a 72 hours power reserve.
Not really my cup of tea that I prefer A Lange, AP or Breguet when it comes to Visual appeal for that kind of money, but I appreciate the craft and the history of the brand.Probably the best quality control in the industry.
Hey Wombatas I recall you live in New Zealand. I just read you guys had another earthquake in Christchurch. Are you and your family OK? Mutley, as I recall you are from Australia but if I am wrong and you live in New Zealand, are you and your family OK? I hope all will be good down there in the days to come.Edit job hereI think it is Mutley who is from New Zealand and Wombat from Australiawell anyway, I hope you two are welland safe
Just want to share my story with my fellowship & members here on TRF...I remember the exact look of the first Rolex that I try on at the AD 25 years ago.....I turn it down because I was aiming for a Daytona Zenith at that time .......Lately I been eyeing on the first Rolex that I try on but never met my spec because.....They either been all beat up, over polish case or over polish bezel that lose all the sharpness and detail of the numbers...Most of them not even a complete set....Finally found it with all my spec requirements such as complete set, non polish, oyster bracelet, white face stick dial tritium and matching hands...A rare find for me, NOS complete set with a bonus sticker still on the watch and plus blank open name & date on the warranty paper with AD name on it......Wear large than I expect for a 7.3 inch wrist.... Maybe because of the over size bezel.....It a great SS sport dress watch in my opinion....
It is so Great for a Bottom Feeder like me to grab an occasional scrap that comes my way. Some of you folks are in a unique position to buy a Rolex like I would buy a pair of shoes. Thank you so much for sharing your Beautiful Watch purchases with the rest of us. For some of us buying a Rolex is a once in a life time event. So many thanks for your inputs, that help us in our decision makingas we do not have the luxury of buying another if we make a mistake !
