I don't know how to set the day/date on this Elgin. Please help
I have just purchased an Elgin wrist watch. I realize its a newer model but I liked the green dial.Elgin_green.jpgI can't figure out how to set the day/date. With other watches ive had you usually pull the crown out more to set that. But this one only seems to come out to one stop. Please helpThank you

You guys are contagious! Ive done caught the disease.You guys talked me into it. I bought an Orange Monster Seiko SKX781 to replace the lost 6309 7290 (I mistakenly reported it was a 7002 earlier) even though Im a little leary of the size increase. I appreciate everyone who helped in that decision.So far I have a new Casio Atomic WVQ140BA-5B that was entirely to cheap to pass up coming.An "almost perfect" preloved SKX781 Orange Monster with three different straps coming (hint: For best results on ebay dont list it as just "Orange Seiko Dive Watch" ).A new Seiko SNT003 Masterpiece Jump Day Retrograde which you will have to Google since I cant find a site that would be okay to link to.And am working on a 4th that I dont want to jinx buy naming it. I will edit to update.EDIT:Just won the Seiko SGEE27. Going to be nice to have a Sapphire Crystal.You guys are going to end up costing me lots of money I can see already!

Mystery watch!
Hello fellow watch enthusiasts! What we have here is a watch with the name Tabor on the dial. 41o Stormo Antisom engraving on case back. All stainless steel, 5 ATM water resistance, Swiss automatic movement. very fine fit and finish with excellent luminous Arabic numerals and hands. Does anyone have any idea where this watch was made? I was told by a friend at work named Francesca who is former Italian military that it is gifted to officers that have had outstanding careers. She believes that it was made in Czechoslovakia but was not able to provide more information and was not certain of her assumption. As I am not yet skilled in researching obscure watches any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried many searches in multiple languages including Czech and Italian under as many permutations as I could think of and they have turned up absolutely no information. It is beyond frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ladies Aquanaut has Quartz movement??
So I was showing my wife some Patek's and she actually really liked the 5067 Ladies Aquanaut- it has diamonds around the bezel. I'm thinking that would be really cool because on occasion we could both wear our Aquanauts. I went to the Patek site and discovered it has a quartz movement. Why do you think this is? I'm guessing maybe it has a smaller case? Is a battery change something I could do or would I have to send to a dealer? Surely I wouldn't have to send to Henri Stern, would I? Anyone with experience with a quartz Patek?Thanks in advance!

Is the Patek 5205 a dress watch?
Conventionally, dress watch should be very slim so it can hide under the sleeves and be very basic two or three hands, mostly no date. My 5205 strictly speaking doesn't seems to be fit that category. But it does fits under a shirt sleeve. The Calatravas are the official dress watch line for PP. So what is the 5205? Casual watch? Sports watch? What do you think? Well, anyway, it gives me an opportunity to share the above picture.
