I don't know if I am alone on this - but the various types of Cushion are a mystery to me. We have Tom's 'sticky' at the top of this forum and Will Roseman's invaluable website - but IMO they focus on the rarities and leave me wondering just exactly what is what - and when.So could those of you with ordinary garden varieties of cushion models please post images in reply - ideally with details of movement and approximate year of production.stales

My wife has a significant birthday coming up and i wanted to get her something special as she supports me in the madness that is watch collectingAny way its a 2005 with full box and papers and as soon as she tried it on she loved it, and as they say it is better to give than receive, but next time its my turnThe last picture is our small collection with the Yacht master also being my wife's. New to Panerai: 1st Pam: 332 Regatta Rattrapante
Purchased this beauty from ErikSzper. Smooth transaction. This is my first Panerai, and it is a superb complement to my Rolex Deepsea. The 2 combined make for a great daily badass rotation. I am enamored with the design, comfort, and this superb Rattrapante function. Yes, it is the watch Stallone wore in the first Expendables, which I feel makes it cooler. Loving this watch, loving Panerai.

SD43 Helium Valve Question???
On the Rolex website, there is a picture of the SD43 with a helium bubble seeping out from the escapement valve - nothing wrong with that, it actually looks quite cool.However, I also noticed, the picture seems to show another gas bubble seeping out of the case back!Is this correct?Would gas escape from both the escapement valve AND the case back?If so, what's the point of the escapement valve in the first place if gas can escape through the case back anyway?Any thoughts...???
