Chopard 168459-3005 wrist watches news:
Well I suspect this watch has had a face replacement as it has no identifying marks. However I am not even a novice when it comes to watches.SN: 602773Case Material: Sterling SilverOther Markings: Longines Crest with EF co upon the top of the crest. Two standing Lions.Other Numbers: 0,935; 16Things that have been lightly scribed into various areas in the case of the watch: 3472; b403c99cxIMAG0466.jpgIMAG0467.jpgIMAG0469.jpgIMAG0473.jpgIMAG0474.jpg
This isn't exactly a fact:After a big party, Kremlin boss Joe Stalin can't find his wristwatch. He calls the KGB and reports it stolen. The next day he finds it in a drawer under his socks - just where he left it. He tells his security chief who replies: "But Sir, we've already had five people confess to stealing it."
I've searched the web and read all the threads on this forum both for and against the idea that automatic watches require a break-in period before they settle into their routine and I have to say that from my experience I'm now a believer.I got my automatic in January and out of the box it was running just over +4 seconds fast per day. The last time I had to reset it was 45 days ago and I just checked it again today against time.gov and from that point until this morning it's down to only +2.8 seconds per day. I'm extremely pleased with the performance of this watch.
I really like everything about the current Liquidmetal offering except the size and color ;) I am really hoping they 1) offer it in black next year and 2) offer it in 42mm.I know that sounds a lot like the LM LE and it is but I really want Titanium. I'd probably just buy an LM LE if I could find one but I'd be just has happy with a Titanium LM in Black and I be really happy if it came in 42mm.Thoughts?
Good morning gents,I'm just looking for some help, while looking online one day I found a website or blog I can't remember which but it was written by one man and dedicated to the Rolex submariner. The website/ blog seemed to be written by a fan at least that's the impression I got from reading it. He went into extreme detail about every aspect of the watch from the history to the construction it and also contained very detailed diagrams that I have never seen online before such as how the pearl is constructed etc. I have been searching for months trying to find this gold mine of information with no luck at all so I thought perhaps some of the forum members might be able to help? Many thanks,Hunter
