Hublot 341.pp.2010.lr.1933 ROSE wrist watches news:
I've been wanting to find a watch to restore by myself. I wanted something that would be relatively straightforward, and for which parts and/or parts movements would be easy to find. I have found my candidate...I picked this watch up on the Swamp for $10. It's a Lord Elgin from about 1954, missing its crystal, and a hand, and in nonrunning condition but with a good balance wheel. It's got a 675 movement, one of the few 15/0 'Shockmasters'. Apart from the balance and associated bits, everything else is interchangeable with the much more common 670 and/or other 15/0 models, so finding bits won't be an issue. It TRIES to run, and with a slight pressure on the 4th wheel, the balance takes off. I've checked the balance for wobble, and there is none. I'm hoping it just needs a bit of cleaning and oiling (There's actually crud in the wells of the jewels). It winds and sets smoothly.I've checked, and the proper crystal is available. The dial is in reasonable shape, at least good enough fo
Hey guys! With impending price increase I've decided to pull the trigger on a new ROO that I've been thinking about for some time. Having a tough time deciding between which of the two aforementioned models I should go for. I'd like to be able to wear either watch dressed up or casually. For those of you with the black/red, does the stitching on the strap stand out too much for a more formal business environment? I think the grey is really great to look at it but I wonder if that cool color will start to get plain after a few months. Any input and wristshots would be greatly appreciated!
Dear Members,I am in the process or at least Breitling UK are of replacing the movement in my 2005 Titanium Seawolf after it has being returned to them for the third time after a number of issues please see postAccuracy of Seawolf after service.Anyhow my question is regarding the COSC Certificate I have with the original paperwork will this cover the new movement or will Breitling issue a new certificate as I assume the movement will have a different numberyour views and comments pleaseKind regardsWalter
