The name gives a pretty apt description of the watch itself, and if the Hand-Wound is a contemporary throwback, the Perpetual Calendar is a modern adaptation of recent design trends seen in the Portuguese family. The digital date and month display are nothing new to IWC, but this is their first appearance within the Portuguese line. 770's with gold striping, some have it, some don't.
Figured this topic was worthy of its own thread.Thanks Stales for the info in my original thread...(.info/foru...htm#post566639). If you take a look at the pic of the 770 in that thread, you'll notice the gold striping, but others I've seen on line don't have it. So, does anyone know anything about this?Thanks,Kevin
