- My husband runs triathalons and has used this and similar Timex watches for years. He loves the look, the cost and how durable this watch is. He was so excited when he got it and he could not believe the price that I had paid.

- I bought this watch for my daughter for Christmas. She saw it originally at Macy's for $700. I bought it at [WEB] for almost half price and she was thrilled when she opened it. The watch is beautiful and the stainless steel will go with everything.

Vacheron Constantin 49145 wrist watches news:
The Altiplano Skeleton from Piaget is one of our (and the collective watch loving community's) favorite high-grade open worked watch.? The classic 38mm size plus the incredible skeleton work on the completely in-house Piaget self-winding movement is simply superb.? While it's been available in white gold for a while, at SIHH last month, we saw it introduced in rose gold with a blackened movement. The thing looks awesome.? Here are pics: 2 OF 4 3 OF 4 4 OF 4

Below is a Gruen 21 Precision that I just got. It is scratched up pretty bad. What sealed the deal was the "10K Gold Filled" engraved on the back. That's all I havecan someone give me more info??IMG_1700.jpgIMG_1701.jpgIMG_1702.jpg

Nearly all dive watches have a rotating bezel (in fact most would not call a watch without a rotating bezel a diver at all), and the purpose of the bezel is to time things, specifically dive times, right?Bear with me, I'm getting to it...A lot of bezels have a red (or contrasting colour) indication from the zero mark to the 15 mark - see pic below:My question, and apologies if this is really stooopid, but why is the red 'zone' from 0 to 15, instead of 45 to 0???I would have thought that you would want a warning area on the bezel as you were approaching the one hour mark, ie, when the air in your tank is running low.Or is the red zone meant as a warning that you are OVER your safe limit of one hour?I'm confused because putting the red zone from 0 to 15 doesn't allow you to use it to countdown to anything - if you set the bezel to zero at whatever time you start timing something, it is in the red zone for the first 15 minutes of timing, which doesn't seem to make sense to me. Cany anyone
