Concord C1 MecaTech Chronograph
The Concord C1 MecaTech chronograph presents a study in multi-level dial complexity. Every square millimeter offers a line, a texture, a non-traditional display, or a new elevation. The two-tone black PVD and rose gold case measuring 44mm x 16.7mm creates the impression of bank-vault security. A matte-black grid in the center of the dial provides the base for the arrow pointers that rest above the turning disks of the 30 minute and 12 hour counters. The COSC-certified ETA Valgranges chronograph movement is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The movement features a black rotor and C?tes de Gen¨¨ve decoration. The 25 jewel movement beats at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 48 hours. The case is water resistant to 200 metersplete technical specifications appear below the images, which may be enlarged with a click. Hi All,I am a long time lurker and occasional poster!Previous watches include a PAM 312, AP 15300, Bi Metal Daytona and currently enjoying a GMT Master.I am relatively new to Patek, had tried on an Aquanaut previously and really liked it but the timing wasn't quite right. Having renovated a house last year, paid for a wedding which is coming up in the next few weeks (), sorted the honeymoon etc I feel the time is almost right to pull the trigger and buy something else.Currently considering;Aquanaut 5167Royal Oak 15400 silver dialRoyal Oak Chrono silver dialToday I tried on a white dial 5711. Wow. Haven't stopped thinking about it since, really loved it.The problem is here in the UK (not sure if the same elsewhere) I am being quoted 3 years waiting list for new (?18 030 list price) or I am looking at circa ?21 500 for a 2013 with box and papers.My concern is whether paying considerably higher than list opens me up to a big hit on depreciation as I am theoretically paying thousands more
