Chopard Chopard 50416 wrist watches news:
"Hello. Mad Max props department here. May we have our watch back please?"It seems they've put something in the water up in Sheffield. ?Timefactors have been happily selling their splendid PRS series of fliegers for a few years. ?Things have ticked along nicely. ?Then, in the space of the last few months, ?we've had a GMT version of the Speedbird, a PVD Smiths Seafire (review to follow – we hope), the new-old-stock Peseux 7040 movement PRS-36 (reviewed here) the PRS-35 and now the PRS-40. ?Of all the new releases, the PRS-40 is certainly the most visually striking. If the PRS-36 is Mad Men, the PRS-40 is pure Mad Max. ?This is the sort of watch that will – without doubt – survive pretty much whatever you throw at it, throw it into or even if you just plain throw it. ?This seems to have been Eddie Platts' (Timefactors' founder and owner) thinking too. ?He's applied to the UK Ministry of Defence and got a NATO stock number for the watch. ?So, presumably, the Ministry can

Hi everyoneAs my 15300 is on it's way, I wanted to validate couple of things with you. Watch has been originally sold June 2011, so this coming june, it will be 2 years old. I have read on the AP website that if it is sent to the APSC for testing water resistance, they give a 3rd year of warranty.Questions I had is1: is it recommended to do anything else, I suppose no but ...2: will they refresh the case, bezel and bracelet to bring it to a like new ?3: how long does it take ?Reason I am asking is that the watch I got is pre-owned with some little marks on the bezel that I would like them removed at the same time, really nothing to worry about but just wanted your input.Cheers,
I've been feeling an itch, wanting to change the bracelet on one of my triple date speedys to an aftermarket leather strap, and was wondering if anyone out there had suggestions on where to look, etc. Also wouldn't mind the type of waterproof canvas, or leather strap (like the Longines Legend Diver) that would look good on the smaller, 39mm speedy.
I would like to introduce myself to the Patek Philippe forum. I had an extra special Mardi Gras this year, with the arrival of my Nautilus 5713. I know that some are not fans of diamonds on a man's watch but to me, it gave the classic Genta design a wow factor that is even better than I expected, now that I have it on my wrist! I believe this reference was introduced around 2008-2009 and has since been discontinued (does anyone know when?). I am also interested in knowing roughly how many of these were produced? I look forward to learning from you all and to contributing to the forum for years to come!
