Citizen BJ8050-59E wrist watches news:
We all know that an Omega was the first watch on the moon, mostly because Omega won’t let us forget (ever). However, the first automatic chronograph in space was the far more humble and less publicized Seiko 6139-6002, now known as "the Pogue." This is because Colonel William Pogue brought his aboard on Skylab 4 and Omega makes a watch to commemorate that mission, naturally. This watch made its way up to space without any authorization, making it a bit of a rebel amongst the space-watch elite. It is also the most affordable mechanical watch for those who want to feel there is something historically “spacy” about their watch, and it was also one of the first automatic mass produced chronographs, which isn’t too shabby either. (It first came out in 1969, at about the same time as the Zenith El Primero and the Heuer/Bruen/Hamilton caliber 11, and was the first full rotor, vertical clutch, column wheel controlled automatic chronograph ever.) Since the hist
Check out my signature which is the Hamilton watch logo. Below the word Hamilton is a statement that says "The American Brand Since 1892".Does that make you think it was made in the USA?If not, what do you think the intent is?
Today I got my Accutron VX-200 Chrono (will make a separate Incoming! thread with pics :D) but I'm amazed by the thickness of this guy It's 16mm, my thickest watchmaybe it's not THE thickest watch available, but it's definetively thick...Why does the Valjoux 7750 is that thick? I guess that it has to be with the chronograph functions, right?, as I was measuring, and even the Planet Ocean (which is 600m WR) is less thickThe only thicker than the P.O. in my collection, are the Accutron Gemini and Tag Heuer Carrera(both Valjoux 7750)Anyway, they feel great in the wrist, their heaviness, and the way the rotor rotates free (no "brake") makes them special when wearing, I love that sensation of the watch pulling your arm off
Hi guys,I am interested in purchasing either:The new PO with 8500 movement .omegawatches/gents/se...23230422101001ORThe PO Liquid Metal .omegawatches/gents/se...22230422001001I can get them for roughly the same price so that's not an issue. Which watch do you guys advise is the better purchase and why? Thanks in advance
1. Clearly it's a Patek...so check...you got that part2. It is not the most expensive Patek I own3. It took a really long time to receive itLet's start there...I'll add more hints as we go if needed.
