"Pictures Owed" payoff - RG Hamilton Jazzmaster
OK, back in May I bought a rose gold Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic. Love the watch, but since I don't have too many occasions in the summer to wear a 'dressy' watch and I wasn't too fond of the stock strap and wanted to order a different one, pictures took a bit longer than usual. But, that's been rectified!The stock Hamilton strap is actually very well made, and a great chocolate brown color. However, I'm puzzled by the fact it's a non-tapered 20/20mm strap. THis type of strap is more suited for a sport watch, not such a dressy looking watch such as this. Plus since some of the time I'll wear this in black-tie environments, I'd wanted a black strap, so I ended up picking up a nice black crocodile strap in a 20/18mm size.. I will eventually pick up a new brown one too though, but for now we'll go with black. Since the new strap has your more traditional taper to 18mm, and the fact I prefer a deployant strap to a tang, I'd also picked up a rose gold deployant to fit on the strap.

Being a Dexter fan and a watch freek I was asking myshelf what watch Dexter in wearing in the show. Many people got it right about the brand TIMEX and the year seem right 1973 (could be from 1970 to 1974). But all were wrong about the model.Dexter watch is and Electric Timex �� 1973 with a Speidel Twist-O-Flex band.There is a lot of those watch on eBay to buy...but almost all come with the Day/calender dial, as of the one from dexter is a NO-date pale gold dial, silver case.It has a dome acrylic crytal and use a standard Timax type "A" battery..The watch itshelf run like a automatic movement and you hear the ticking, but it"s electric to run....very special to hear running with a loud mechanical ticking.For those who did not see the pictures taken from the show, i have included a few on another post for you to see and also somes picture of my actual watch on this post. What's the safest way to sell my watch?
I am considering selling my Omega PO watch but am a bit concerned about doing it over the internet. Can anyone tell me the safest way to get paid without getting conned? If I advertise on Ebay and accept a Paypal payment does that mean that as soon as the money is in my account then it is ok to send the watch?You hear so many bad stories out there and I would hate to sell my watch and post in only to find out that the money hasn't come through.
