- I purchased this as a Christmas gift for a friend who loves watches. He loved it. Having his initials added to the valet made it even more special to him. Great duct and I highly recommend it.

- More attractive in person. Boyfriend style watch, but feminine. Nice shine, pretty gold color, just enough flash. Comfortable to wear.

Dior CD113112R001 wrist watches news:
Just got my Sub LV last weekend and wow, I can't stop staring! I'm wearing it everyday, and even sleeping with it! Is that crazy? My wife thinks I'm nuts hahaha. Sorry I don't have pics yet, but will get them up soon. I just got my computer reformatted and they forgot to install iphoto.Thank you all for your advice and insight in helping me choose my first Rolex. I pretty much followed everyone's kind words, especially Matthew's about getting an LV and changing the bezel to black. Which brings me to my next question: I know it's early, but wanted to try and track down the black bezel insert. Anyone have one or a lead? I posted in the FS section, but thought I'd try here too. Much appreciated!

I find myself with some spending money to burn, but not enough for a new Rolex. Since I got my gen2 Exp1 in October that seems reasonable.I've finally realized that I'm just not into vintage, I'd rather start fresh and make my own way with a watch (nothing against vintage of course). Plus I'm still totally confused by the Speedmaster lineage, and I really care about nice bracelets, have heard Omega makes good ones, and also like that the new Speedmaster has screws instead of pins.So is it lame buying a new Speedmaster? For some reason it feels like it is, maybe because vintage is so in right now. I'm seriously considering a Seiko Marinemaster as well, which I think I love (apart from the bracelet), and dive watches sing to me loudly, but I dunno. I'm also knocking around buying a Seiko Sumo and saving up some more for when my wife goes to the UK in April in the hopes she could find me a no date SubC, hard as that is these days. Also does anyone pay retail for a new Speedmaster Professio
First post on the forums! I've been a member since November but have been lurking and learning a whole lot. Went from a set of forgettable Movados to a small collection of timepieces that serve very specific purposes in my simple life: right now I have a 3940P, 5711/1A, 3919J and a Rolex 114270. The people in this forum helped a whole lot in terms of helping me field sources, choosing between ADs and greys, etc. - for this, many, many thanks!I'm looking to add another piece to my set and I'm faced with an interesting decision:1. The 5036/1G - annual calendar in white gold. I like the metal bracelet (helps that it's a whole lot of gold, too), and I love the calendar and moonphase function. Metal bracelets would be very welcome when things heat up during the Spring and summer - leather straps just don't last given my sweat patterns and volume!2. The 5040J - tonneau case perpetual calendar. To lower the price and make it comparable to the 5036/1G option I'll need to trade in my 391
And couldn't be happier with the results. Opinions are divided on PCL's, but I'm much more of a fan of the brushed look. It cost just $50 from a professional, so well worth the money to me. It would certainly lower the resale value, but I don't plan on ever parting with this one.Just thought I'd post a few pictures if anyone is considering doing the same thing.
