- I received this watch in a very timely manner and with no hassles at all. The moment I put the watch on I started getting compliments on it. I have been wearing it pretty much non-stop since I got it. I have a lot of watches but this one is very unique and is hands down my favorite.

Hello,What is a reasonable price for a late-1980s Breitling Pluton 3100 (model no. 80191, as below) with leather strap in good condition? (genuine original Breitling)Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.Kind regardsM
So I noticed something strange with my watch the day I got it. I posted in another thread about it, but I'm not sure if this is normal or not. When the watch is completely drained of power, I literally have to shake it maybe 5-10 times back and forth before the second hand starts moving. Whereas on my omega seamaster for example, if I tap that watch, the slight movement of the rotor is enough to get it running. First I thought I had an issue with the power reserve, but I tested it, and it pretty much lasted 50 hours. Even with me running the chrono for about 20-30 minutes 3x a day. I called the new york boutique and they told me it's a misconception that automatic watches get charged from movement of the rotor. They said that is only to maintain the charge, and that to actually fully charge it, requires winding the crown. Is this actually the case? I don't recall having this issue with my 44mm ceramic, albeit I didn't really inspect it like my ROO. So I'm wondering if anyone who has a
Looks like the dreaded price increases did not affect the standard mainline watches; i.e., stainless Speedmasters and Seamasters. As for the newer pieces, he has four of the LE Bond watches in stock. I am so old that the only Bond for me is Sean Connery and he wore a Rolex but having seen the LE Bond in the steel, I must say that I am impressed. For those of us interested in the First Omega in Space (I call it the Schirra Speedy), he has no news as to when it might arrive. The official word remains September. The order list is growing but I'm still #1.Fr. John?
Was at the AD this morning and saw a Luminor GMT with a textured dial similar to a 643. I already forgot the reference number...can anyone help out?EDIT it's a 537! Figured it out...mods feel free to delete.
Too early to tell but would you do the flip? I¡¯m getting interest on mine for a good price but I actually like it. I also fee I would like the new one with the smaller size and definitely welcome the thinner profile...Advice?
