I just ordered an Armitron automatic with the "Precise Chinese Caliber TY28075V Movement" in it, has anybody heard anything about this movement? I know that it could very well be a non-descript chinese movement, but the same generic chinese movements do pretty well in Alphas, right? It looks like it's decorated nicely too, so at least it has that.
maybe a ceramic PO !or a PLOPROF !
Looking through the for sale section using the search button for the DaytonaC it seems that they are moving slower and taking longer to sell, also some 116500 being re-listed for lower prices by the same sellerI hope this trends continues and that more buyers will refuse to contribute to the inflated prices by buying new 116500 from the grey dealers. I'm one of many on a wait list at AD because I have no interest in buying this beautiful watch online, part of the experience for me is going to the AD and unfortunately the grey dealers and those willing to pay the premium are making the wait longer for a lot of people.Trend is your friend they say so hopefully this is just the start
I¡¯m looking at a Sub 16800 R serial number (purchaseed new in 1988) that¡¯s complete with the box, documentation, and full history. I have a couple questions.1) The braclet was replaced a few years ago with a new Rolex braclet. Should that have any effect good or bad on the value?2) Besides feeling good about the purchase is there anything else I should do to help determine an appropriate price? Thanks
