- this is my first watch in about 5 years. it is very accurate and doesn't sit like a mountain on my wrist, its enough so as not to be a nuisance. it may just be my bony wrist, but the strap is a bit uncomfortable after long periods of wear.

Secaucus Omega Service Center experiencetaking too long?
I sent in my Omega Seamaster to the "official" servicing center in Secaucus, NJ. When I called beforehand, they told me I would have the watch back in 4-6 weeks. It's now been 8 weeks, still no watch. When I called them this morning, I was then told it would be at least 2 weeks more before I would get it returned. They said the 4 - 6 weeks promise was contingent on "if all went well and they didn't have to order parts." Order parts? Why would they not have all the parts they need for such a standard model if they're the "official" Omega watch repair center for the US? Is this a common experience, or am I running into unusually poor service here?

Red strap
Some time ago, I posted a shot of my wife's new Tissot PRC100 chrono with its metal bracelet, which she didn't like. Finally, the red leather deployant strap we back-ordered from Tissot arrived at the AD. She likes the strap much better; I think it looks better, too. What do you think?

There are many more styles not shown yet in that post, and a handful that are not named at the bottom. It's a good resource as it is now, but far from complete. So if you have any suggestions for a picture to add of a different style of hands that's not yet shown, or a reference book or link to find the names of these styles please share it in this thread. State of the Collection-December 2008
Hey Everyone:I thought I'd share what the collection looks like today. I added two pieces this year, both GMT's. One was a Sinn 857, the other is a Ball Aviator GMT.As some of you know, my grandfather was a watchmaker so I have a few of his pieces. My wife found me the 1926 Hamilton Square for my 40th. How lucky I am to live with a fellow WIS (who she has some really nice pieces herself) and plays a big part in my selections.Not all of my watches are photographed, but this gives you a pretty good idea of the collection:The Beaters:His and Her SYF's:Something Different:The Vintage:The Modern:Groupings and Watch Boxes:Thanx for looking.

Regarding 3513.50
All,I generally hang out in the vintage rolex section, but I have been asked to research a 3513.50 or 3570.50 by my sister in law as a birthday gift to her husband (my brother). I know nothing about Omega watches and I would like a brief history on these two models......provenance, vintage, production run, etc. According to my SIL, he seems to have searched more on the 3513.50 than the latter. Anything would be helpful, and any advice on searching for one would also be helpful. Pete
