Technically, I already have a Clubman, but it has a custom Schlitz dial and a 680 movement. The heart of the Clubman is of course the waffle dial.Unfortunately, they often go for crazy prices or the waffle dials look like they have gone to war. Finally the other day, a seller had listed two of them ending a few minutes apart. The first one went for over a hundred, while this one received little attention.One thing I've never understood on eBay, is that many sellers send you filthy watches (wouldn't a clean watch get you more $$?). Of course, this was no exception. There was crud in every crevice on both the band and the case. I cleaned and polished both the case and band and they shined up nicely. Additionally, the crystal was scratched across its entire surface. A little polywatch, a Dremel, and elbow grease polished it up nicely. The movement is Elgin's 21 jewel, 556.
