For a while I was talking to Giles Ellis as he was in the midst of starting a watch brand. It was interesting to see yet another independent watch brand thrust themselves along supported by one enthusiastic founder faced with a number of challenges. Ellis, and Englishman, wanted a watch that reflected his tastes and ideals. For him Schofield is a true Gentleman's brand and offers the types of watches he wants to hear. He has great admiration for both the historic and contemporary English watch makers that are helping to bring horological street cred back to the UK.Schofield's first pieces are called the Signalman. Two watches, both limited editions, that are offered in a polished steel or matte DLC coated black steel case. PO is a tough nut to crack/size!
PO is a hard watch to resize! Guys I have sized cheaper watches with link pins easily but this PO is so tight I can only manage to get the pin half way out and its stuck. There is no way I can pull or push the pin which was already half way out further out, tried it on two links and its the same.Any tricks to it? I am better of getting it done at a jeweler shop I reckon.

A Long "A-Whited" Incoming (the wait/white is over)
The white is over, Finally my long awaited white 5711 incoming...I would say definitely one of my affordable grail watches (relatively speaking..lol)I just love love love the look of finely polished stainless steel white luxury watches for the summer which here in Florida is most of the year.I owned the white 116520 white twice mainly because I loved that cleanwhite look on a sports watch. It really elevates my mood and lifts my spirit more than any other dial color.I had a brief honeymoon with the 5711 blue, which I rank as one of my biggestwatch mistakes for letting it go (considering I got at an AD for retail), but today I feel vindicated, because I like the look of the white even better! And it is so much nicer in person. It's hard to do justice with pictures, but I feel I captured a glimpse of its beauty with the images below.
