Basel Preview: Bremont P-51 Limited Edition
Bremont is launching the limited edition P-51, a chronograph chronometer built with original parts from the famous 1944 Mustang WWII aircraft P-51K-10 (serial number 44-12016), a Pacific war veteran that bore the name “Fragile but Agile”. Original aluminum from the fuselage is integrated into both the dial and the movement of the timepiece. The dial is inspired by the clocks found in the P-51 aircraft. The 43mm hardened steel Trip-Tick case uses Bremont¡¯s B-EBE2000 technology, a stage in the case production process where the metal is bombarded with electrons, increasing the hardness by a factor of nine compared with normal stainless steel used in watch cases. The case also integrates the new rotating ¡®Roto-Click¡¯ inner bezel that houses four ball-bearings inside the case. As with many of Bremont¡¯s latest watch designs, the P-51 is assembled the company¡¯s atelier in England rather than their workshop in Biel-Bienne in Switzerland, and houses a modified Swiss BE-54A automatic

I was just introducing myself as a n00b to PAM couple of threads below while I was still deciding between PAM98 & PAM184. Ultimately, the decision was just made and I am happy that I will be buying LNIB 98 from a fellow watch collector. Interesting part is, that we know each other for a quite a while from several other watch sites, and it feels that we know each other for a while....and now finally, we crossed our paths this way. What a perfect way to buy a watch from a fellow watch enthusiast !;)Here is the beauty (not my pictures yet)....It will be here on THU and I cannot wait !!! Also, BIG THANKS to Viken - India Whiskey Charlie for essentially finding this watch for meand connecting me with a super nice seller !!

Hi all,I have an Omega Aqua Terra mid size chronometer (231.10.39.21.06.001) with the steel bracelet and I'd like to replace it with a leather strap with deployant clasp (similarly to how AT could be also sold with). Can you guys help me identifying what parts I would need to order on OFREI or similar sites? Probably I should have bought the watch with the leather strap to start with... it seems it is quite an expensive add-on...Thanks in advance!John
