Ebel 9003F11/6125 wrist watches news:
Ah, now here is a slide-rule bezel complication that I can use. I tend to make fun of these as I am not about to do long-division or calculate fuel consumption on a tiny slide-rule, if I need to figure that stuff out at allBut this one is actually handy. This new watch for 2012 from Hamilton is the Khaki X-Patrol and it has a metric to imperial conversion scale. That would prove useful as I often travel to Europe and having no idea how far things are and how much things weigh. I am such a proud American. It isn't going to replace a calculator, but in comparison to most slide-rule bezels out there, you'll probably use this one at least once in a while. The name of the watch sounds like it was made for some make-believe military force, but it looks pretty cool. I like how standard Hamilton Khaki watches look like they are made for actual military personnel, and the Khaki models with some extra term after them look ripe for wrist time on GI Joe character. You can decide for yourself what t
Announced at Baselworld 2013, Victorinox has updated a number of models in their existing line, including their very popular Air Boss and Maverick timepieces. Most exciting of the updates however is the new Chrono Classic 1/100th model, which features an interesting Swiss-made Soprod SOP FM13D quartz movement with "hidden" chronograph function, numerically displayed 1/100th second indicator and perpetual calendar.Measuring 41mm in diameter, the Chrono Classic is robust, but not too oversized, and features a mixture of brushed and polished finishing throughout, including guilloche decoration on the dial and a printed tachymeter along the outer rim of the case bezel. The Chrono Classic comes in a number of color finishing and strap combinations, including dark grey PVD with a black leather strap or metal bracelet, or gold PVD with a brown leather strap or metal bracelet.Water resistant to 100 meters and featuring a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the Chrono Classic is buil

that Hamilton also produced rocket fuel alloys, special metals for the Apollo program, missile timers and safety and arming devices for military applications? Some feel that they got away from their strength of making fine watches and eventually were capital burners that had to be sold when the watch market was saturated by cheaper watches that the Americans had an appetite for.
Well today is the big day, and I never received my SS Daytona from my AD. I went on their wait list back in 2016, when the new model debuted. I got a call last July from my AD, telling me that I was next up. I thought for sure by today, I would have it in my possession. Well, maybe it will come for my 40th year instead of the day. Keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe this is a blessing in the sky and something from Basel will come out this year and I will want that in stead. But it better be something COOL! As I was not that impressed with the models from the 2017 Basel world.........
