Ebel 9137260-25567 wrist watches news:
The holidays are more or less over, the gifts have been given - perhaps a few left dangling "in the mail" somewhere - but few surprises are left. Did you get the watch that you wanted? Did you even ask for it? My philosophy is that unless someone knows exactly what you want (and where to get it), watch lovers should not be given gifts by non watch lovers. You know how it goes. "The sales person at Macy's said you'd love it..." (cringe).Well you can still be surprised and get a change to win this lovely new Swatch Automatic Chrono "Simply Pure" model watch. I have it here just eager to get on someone's wrist. It is so lonely sitting in it's chic box. I did a review of a different Swatch Automatic Chrono watch, the "Silver Class" here - that is part of the same new collection of timepieces. Remember that is has a new ETA automatic mechanical chronograph movement inside of it. Retail price is $370. The drawing ends on December 31, 2009. Go out with a bang for the decade. ...can please someone make a brief evaluation of this Benrus, I've searched my eyes out on the web but I can't find the exact model. It works fine but needs cleaning up, on the inside it says " BENRUS W. CO 18k GOLD REIFORCED WITH METAL" and on the mecanism "17 seventeen jewels". I would apreciate it very much, thankyou.
im looking to fine a watch winder or some sort of display case for my watches i want it to hold 10 watches cause its my goal to get 10 nice watches in my collection anyone any ideas where to find 1 ?
I am in the grips of a watch funk.I just cruised my local uber-posh mall visiting Tourneau and several exclusive jewelers looking at various luxury watches.Came away depressed - they all look the same! If it weren't for the name on the dial, you couldn't tell one brand from another. There were two standouts: The Corum Golden Bridge (ala Invicta Sapphire Ghost only much sleeker and more elegant) and a ChronoSwiss Opus (a skeletonized beauty). One surprise: I examined a Chopard white dial classic 3-hand - very similar to my IWC Portofino and several German watches owned by WTF members. Nice fit and finish - but no screwed in caseback on a $4,000 watch! My IWC has tiny recessed screws to hold the case closed. I was amazed the Chopard didn't have a similar feature.Anyway, it seems watch design - or me - is stuck in a real rut. I've been feeling this way for several months.Perhaps that's why I'm drawn to my funky Clercs.Oh well...Thanks for putting up with my mini rant - or whining!
As I get older, I find myself not spending enough time with each watch in my collection. So I am thinking to trade a couple or maybe 3 for a AP RO or ROO. I understand many of you also have RO and/or ROO in your watch collection, and I was wondering if I can get your opinions on the move? Any of you regret picking up RO or ROO?Thinking to get rid of the Daytona and one sub for AP.
