Longines Conquest Titanium - reset position
I have a Longines Conquest Titanium watch I purchased in the early 90's. Someone may be interested in purchasing it so I was checking to see if it worked properly as I haven't used it in years and to be honest have never used the chronograph function of the watch. After using the chronograph function and resetting the watch by pressing the "B" button (according to the illustration in the operating instructions)- the 12 hour counter, the 30 minute counter, and the 1/100th sec hand return to the "zero" position but the chronograph seconds hand does not. Is the chronograph seconds hand supposed to realign itself to the "zero" position after I reset it or does it simply remain in the same position after stopping the chronograph and returning to "regular" mode. I've really come to be fond of the NATO-style straps. I'm looking for suggestions of a watch to throw on.I currently own a china-town Rolex, Baume & Mercier Classima 8688, Omega Seamaster Professional Titanium, ORIS Artelier #7494, 1960s Omega Seamaster (have to date it), Seiko 5 Automatic Blue.I do like the green face Seiko Alpinist.So...suggestions for a nice watch to throw on a NATO-style strap for daily wear?

5524G Thoughts
I¡¯m relatively new to the world of Patek and I think I¡¯m not a typical Patek client... rarely wear suits or shirts with cuffs, more t shirts or sleeves rolled up..I¡¯m normally comfortable in everything diver-like from Rolex..Recently bought a 5167R on a bit of a whim (it sang to me where the steel had not)Am waiting to try on a 5711 but I have a feeling it wont do much for me...The 5524 on the other hand I think is stunning... love the size, dial colour and design and the travel time features.Reminds me of my Pam only 100 times nicer...I was lucky to have had one in my hands on a couple of visits to my AD recently...The one I¡¯ve seen was reserved and so I couldn¡¯t buy it if I¡¯d wanted.. been told. I can have one in about 12-18 months...But it¡¯s way above my previous watch purchase costs and I¡¯m not getting VAT back etc.. so I¡¯m cautious to say the least at spending out on about the value of 6 ceramic subs for 1 PM watch..But I love how it looks and think it would suit my day to day st
