Ulysse Nardin 139-10/KREMLIN wrist watches news:
Any word out of Rolex headquarters when they may update the Explorer II? I know the new 39mm Explorer is out. I will be interested if they incorporate the ceramic bezel and larger lug in the Explorer II as they did for GMT II.Any thoughts?
Would you have a problem if Omega made a quartz version of the Speedmaster Professional with the exact same look as the 1861 Hesalite version for let's say $800?What if they kept the inscription on the back? Would it be true?
I just picked up this Hamilton Automatic. I've looked at the catalogs but nothing is jumping out at me. It's got a 689A movement so I'm guessing late 50's or early 60's but since I didn't see it maybe it's from the 70's. Doesn't look "ugly" enough for a 70's watch though.Anyone have an opinion?
Hi GuysI'm normally into my Rolexes, but I'm keen to find out about Panerai and the buzz with them, etc.I'm one of those people that has only seen the Panerai's in the movies and the one that really takes my fancy is the one Jason Statham wears in The Transporter 2. It is the Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight PAM00196 with black strap and I think it looks amazing!Question is I've had a look on Panerai's website and cannot see it listed on there. I'm based in the UK so does anyone know if this watch is still currently available and if so what is the retail please? Thanks in advance.Jonathan
Today I had the good fortune to meet Fr. John for lunch at a gourmet restaurant in Athens called Allen's. This is a new version of the old one which closed in 2003. A great burger joint.Anyway, I had ask that he bring his new chocolate Speedy for me to have a look. I sure am sorry he brought it! It is simply stunning! I had no idea it would be so beautiful. The polished movement is a work of art. WOW! I only had my pocket camera and the photos do not do it justice.I also wanted to show you how Fr. John stays fit and healthy! Cheers, Bill P.
