Emporio Armani AR6064 wrist watches news:
Two new and indeed highly complicated additions to the IWC Ingenieur family for 2015 are the IWC?Ingenieur Constant-Force Tourbillon and the IWC?Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month, both?now available in a new colorway dominated by red gold. This grants us the opportunity to take a closer look at these similar and yet oh-so-different watches from IWC.Starting off with the big (well, bigger) gun, the IWC Ingenieur?Constant Force?Tourbillon is what it says on the cover ¨C and, in fact, quite a bit more. The tourbillon, as you may have seen?in the?video of the $750,000 Portuguese Sid¨¦rale Scafusia, has?a "dead-beat" ticking motion to it, advancing once every second ¨C like a normal seconds hand on most?quartz watches. What's responsible for that is the?patented constant-force mechanism that ensures that the amplitude of the balance, and hence,?timekeeping?accuracy remain consistent.Although the 94800 in-house caliber offers?96 hours of power reserve courtesy of its two mainsprin
For grins, I put bids on a couple of Benrus watches on Ebay. The photos looked decent, the ads stated they were running, and they were each bidding under $20.00. One is listed as being from the 40's, and the other is deco, so I'd guess it's also from the 40's.I figured if I happen to win and they turn out to be a total loss, all I have to do is bring my lunch instead of eating out for a couple of days to recoup the loss On the other hand, if they turn out to be decent, I wouldn't mind putting a little money into them to have them serviced. Cosmetically, they don't need any restoration - not perfect, but nice enough to wear as is.Thanks for any info.
Not really into AP's like that but I thought I would share.
Being a real sucker for Speedmasters and being something of a space geek/freak, I'm torn between deciding what my next LE Speedmaster should be.The two options are the Snoopy and the Apollo Soyuz. I'm a massive Snoopy fan and I love that the little guy is on both the case back and the dial and as for the Soyuz, well, just look at it, it's gorgeous. Both pieces also have plenty of ties to historical events so really, I'm stuck between a meteorite and a hard place. Just wondering what everyone else would choose, if you had to choose between these two.Copper
With the teaser promising the donning of the jubilee on a sports model, presumably a new GMT, the speculation and wishful thinking for a platinum GMT model has all but dwindled to a whisper approaching the final day before the big reveals. So, I thought I would add a small contribution, as my own teaser, for what is unlikely to come to pass as another Basel comes and goes. New Coke, or Blueberry, or Pepsi, or LN offered on jubilee should be enough to hold us over for the next 11 months --or two weeks-- before the Basel 2019 predictions start If the general consensus is that the WG sports models didn't sell too well, what would be the rational that a higher priced similarly toned model would do any better? I assume the Daytona may be an anomaly, or off limits to discuss, since I can't recall any discussions on how good or bad sales may be for the PM models.
