Emporio Armani AR5957 wrist watches news:
The vintage-look trend that has been so prevalent in the watch world in recent years showed no signs of abating at last year’s Baselworld watch fair. Modern re-editions of historical pieces continue to emerge from some of the most venerable watch brands. Here are seven notable examples of “vintage-inspired” watches that launched in 2015.The Omega Globemaster ¡ª the first watch to receive the brand’s “Master Chronometer” certification ¡ª is technically an all-new model in the Omega portfolio, but it gets its design cues from earlier models: the ¡°pie pan¡± dial echoes that of a vintage Omega Constellation from 1952; and the fluted bezel is derived from that of another Constellation model from 1968. The 39-mm case (available in stainless steel, yellow gold, two-tone steel and yellow gold, and Omega¡¯s proprietary Sedna gold) has a brushed finish, with two polished bevels connecting the edges of the lugs to the bezel. The top ridges of the fluted bezel have
Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andrew. I go by Dru, for short. Stumbled upon this site and love the layout and the people on here seem very nice. I don't have years of experience in watch collecting or knowledge, but I do make up for it in terms of admiration and love for them. My first nice watch was a black-faced automatic Seamaster (2254.50)It was simple yet elegant. After a few years, I decided it was a time for an upgrade. I couldn't stray too far away from the look of the Seamaster. I was leaning towards the Planet Ocean.Eventually, I decided to go ALL-IN and picked up a Planet Ocean Chronograph. (2210.50)My only complaint about the Planet Ocean series was the bracelet. Except for the sides, none of the links are polished. Without any polished sections, it lacks contrast and break-off.So I had a friend of mine, who's a professional jeweler, do a little custom work for me and polish out the center links. I think it turned out FANTASTIC and wish it was lik
I got a friend from a friend who owns one of these. It's a leather band with 2 red stitches running down. Looks like a chrono watch. Black face dial with a stainless steel look. Here are some pics below. Or Can of you watch gurus recommend a watch similar in characteristics? Thanks for your time
Hello everyone,My father bought this watch in 1970. After 15 years of wearing it, he gave it to his brother, who lives in the US. After 18 years, my uncle gave it back to my father. My parents live in Spain, and the watch has been around my fathers wrist from 2003 till last night.Dingdong, doorbell rings.Long story short, my father gave me this very special watch. Needless to say, I'm the happy man! 9 years in the Spanish sun has done something special to this dial. It turned slightly brownish.
Was wondering if others have this problem. Firstly want to say I have been wearing Rolexes for a long time and love them. I have been wearing my Nautilus and 5164 a lot lately and just dont want to go back to a Sub C or wear my newer GMT master C ,etc. I have a smaller wrist and that might be a big part of it but I was curious if others with smaller wrist have just got out of the newer bigger Rolexes because of comfort. I traded a Sub C when I bought this new 5164 and I just dont miss the bulk at all. I do love Rolex so maybe a older Sub on a strap or nylon would be a cool look and also be comfy.I notice that a lot of Patek wearer also wear some older subs so I was curious if I am alone with my thinking on the bigger Stuff if you are one with a smaller wrist. Maybe someone with some experience around this can chime in. thanks
