Emporio Armani AR6063 wrist watches news:
Previously on worn&wound we've discussed those watches or watch brands that manage to achieve superb design and quality in a surprisingly / unbelievably affordable price point.? Think Steinhart with their $400, ETA powered pieces, or the $200 Maratac Pilot with a quality automatic and sapphire crystal the size of your head. ?Having spent some time with the $338?Techn¨¦ GosHawk (and previously Sparrowhawk) I am beginning to think that Techn¨¦ deserves a place in that conversation.?The GosHawk pairs unique aviator styling and excellent craftsmanship with a quality Japanese automatic movement and superior components.Case: Bead Blasted Stainless SteelMovement: Miyota 8217 AutomaticDial: BlackLume: C3Lens: Sapphire with AR coatingStrap: “Saddle” Oiled LeatherWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 41.4mm x 48.7mmThickness: 12.5mmLug Width: 20mmCrown: Screw downWarranty: 1 YearCaseThe case of the GosHawk is simple and clean, matching an aesthetic seen throughout the watch. hello peeps i just bought this watch wat yuou guys think ????? is this rare
I posted this in the Rolex forum, but wanted to get input from the AP forum as well.I've been on the list for 8 months at my AD for the SS Skydweller in the blue dial. #2 on the list from day one. Talked to the AD yesterday. They haven't even received the first one. No idea how long before I get mine.I'm getting impatient. It's not like I'm trying to order a Porsche GT car or a Ferrari 488 right? I know I know. Some folks are on waiting lists that span multiple years for Daytona C's and certain PP Nautilus models. Just not my thing though. I was sold on the Rolex ,but I got to try on the SS ROC in the blue dial. It's an amazing piece. Now I'm starting to think I should just forget about the SkyD and add the ROC to my collection instead? What do you think?
One of the ADs in my area has a BNIB 116622 Yacht-Master with the Platinum Dial and is willing to sell it to me at $10k plus tax.I know it was never a popular watch, but I always liked it. At $10k, it's intriguing. Should I pull the trigger?
Hi All,My current watch collection includes the LV-C and BLNR. I had been contemplating adding a 3rd which included the SD43, TT Sub-C (blue) or D-blue. I was able to see a D-blue in person and have ruled that out since due to the bulk of the watch (though it¡¯s an amazing piece and the dial is super cool). I saw the TT blue today and it¡¯s a fantastic watch. The blue dial is amazing, though I¡¯ve never worn anything in yellow gold. My AD promised I¡¯m next on the SD43 list, though it remains a mystery when they will get one in. The question to you all is of the 4 watches mentioned, which 2 would you keep? I don¡¯t routinely travel within different time zones, so the GMT is not a necessary functionality for me. I do love the bracelets and glide lock feature on the Submariners. The pros/cons list are pretty equally distributed among the options, so hoping you all can add some additional insight or things I may not have considered. Thanks in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
