Emporio Armani AR7329 wrist watches news:
Blancpain is one of the oldest Swiss watch brands but it was on the verge of death before being taken over by Jean-Claude Biver. This was of course before Biver¡¯s purchase of Hublot, and before Blancpain he was at Omega. Biver is said to have pretty much saved Blancpain (just as he did with Hublot) ¨C a good thing because today, despite the brand¡¯s literal English translation of ¡°white bread,¡± very few boring things are going on inside the manufacture.Biver sold Blancpain to the Swatch Group a few years ago. The brand¡¯s CEO right now is Marc Hayek, one of (the late and regrettably lost) Nicolas Hayek¡¯s sons. His rule of the brand has taken it into a series of different directions, and Blancpain has a few distinct personalities as a watch maker. Those personalities include being a classic watch maker, a complicated watch maker, and dive watch maker, a racing watch maker, and a contemporary high-end complex avant garde watch maker. They also have adopted a mechanism similar to the tourbil
Can anyone identify the watch Aaron Eckhart is wearing in this picture?
I've been lingering in my decision to pull the trigger on a Bremont Alt-1P or -1Z. Looking at the IWC offering, it seems to be sporting a dial/hands combo that is more visually pleasing. Both are ETA watches. Should the IWC even be in contention here, given that it's not a manufacture movement? The idea of an in-house engine has been bothering me- in a good way, I guess- a lot lately. What say you?ETA- I've seen the brief write-up on IWC's working on ETA base calibers and I think I agree, more or less. But do you guys?
In last month's newsletter, I announced that WTF was going to be undergoing a MAJOR site redesign. I had originally hoped to have this project completed by the end of January. The bad news is, we won't make that completion date. The good news is, the work that our Site Administrator (Greg), our design consultants, and myself are doing is going strong. We're now hoping to launch the re-designed site during the first week of March. We have a test environment set up in which we're testing the new design and upgraded functionality. Next week, I'll be giving the entire Admin Team access to the test environment and they'll be assisting with identifying and squashing bugs, as well as contributing their thoughts to the final design. This will help ensure a smooth transition when we "flip the switch" and bring the new site online. Don't worry, all existing data on WTF will be there when you log in on the new site - no one will have to re-register, and there will be no lost data. Here's
Hi guys, I am new to the forum so I wanted to introduce myself.I am 21 years old and I have become pretty interested in watches. My first watch was an all back Armani Dive watches. I wear it mainly when I am doing any kind of physical activity. I recently purchased a Movado JR Sport watch. I know it is not recommended, but I purchased the watch from ebay. The seller had a great rep and others had commented that the watches were authentic (I know that does not mean much). Basically I got the watch and I expected more for the money. The watch seems to have all the right signs of being authentic. I also removed the back cover of the watch and it had Movado printed on the actual movement device and on the back cover itself. The only problem is that the band seems to scratch/scuff easily. I also got nervous because the watch says Swiss MOVADO Quartz and I have read that it should say Swiss MOVADO made.So basically I wanted to know if anyone had any info to help clear this up. I did a lot of
