- Such a beautiful watch, and it was going to be my birthday gift! But it is way too large for my wrist. I ordered the -medium and it still feels as if it is going to fall off my wrist. I'm so sad that it has to go back.

Franck Muller 7502 QZ wrist watches news:
You are either going to love this brand - given its cool obscure status - or feel cold to it due to its remarkably unknown name. Let's consult the United Nations of Watch Makers (a global organization I just made up) and see who Molnar Fabry isThe brand is a bespoke watch maker based in Slovakia. I can now add that country to the list of places watch makers seem to hang out. It does fascinate me how some of these guys set up shop in seemingly random places. If you live in parts of France, Switzerland or Germany, you are close to watch making areas and it totally makes sense that you'd have access to horological training. Otherwise it would be very difficult to get the right type of skilled training.According to Molnar Fabry, the brand's watches are produced by a duo of guys who are former goldsmiths. That means they took a jewelry background and applied it not to strict watch making per se, but rather the embellishing and decoration of existing watch movements. In some way, what Molnar
Hey Guys,This has been driving me crazy lately. I have always viewed the AT as Omega's answer to the Rolex Air-King, Date/Datejust. I DIG on the Omega, but yesterday I was looking at the other guys in an AD and I must admit they look great. The AT has more water resistance at 150m vs. 100m. Size is the same, more or less. Case shapes are similar. You can get a brand new AT for the price of a used Rollie, but then I think the Rollie will hold its value better. What say all of you: Aqua Terra or Rolex Air King, Date/Datejust?Thanks for helping me get this out of my twisted brain!
A couple sellers are out of town, so I was wondering.
I noticed that the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto Chrono is offered with either a 38 or a 42mm case. The 38mm is 14.5mm thick. What's your opinion about that case diameter versus thickness? I realize that the 4mm difference between 38 and 42 is not that much, but it seems that 40mm would be a nice compromise.42mm seems a little large for my wrist, but I want to be sure that the thickness won't be too much for a 38mm case.I'm back in the market because I cancelled the order for the Open Heart and the square Jazzmaster. In fact, I already ordered the 38mm Field Auto Chron with a Brown Face already, and am looking for reassurance that the dimensions will be compatible.
A while back I became very interested in the independent watches, and I tried to learn about the different watchmakers and what they were building. I learned about Daniel Roth and about his history as a watchmaker. I was very impressed with his credentials and life experiences. I was also impressed with the Jean Daniel Nicolas Two Minute Tourbillon he was building. I read about Daniel`s philosophy and how he was going out of his way to build a watch that was special. The tourbillon takes 2 minutes to make one complete revolution, there are pointers at either end of the tourbillon to count the seconds. The watch beats at 18,000 VPH, not because it`s easy but because it`s hard. Daniel says that he wants to be able to see the watch beat. I went ahead and ordered a Two minute Tourbillon and the story begins.During the wait Daniel would send me photos of the process and keep me advised to the progress being made. Here are a few of the photos I`ve received.A year and a half ago, I had the pl
