Greubel Forsey indulges in variations on their unique horological themes. These variations are the Invention Pieces. In 2007, IP1 celebrated the Double Tourbillon 30¡ã, and in 2009 IP3 paid homage to the Tourbillon 24 Secondes. This year tribute is paid to the Quadruple Tourbillon in the form of the IP2, recasting the original’s innovative mechanism in a completely new movement. The IP2 movement is comprised of 594 components housed in a 43.5 mm diameter asymmetrical case. Two double tourbillons are presented head-to-tail, allowing the mechanisms to be appreciated from all angles through front and back sapphire crystals and a lateral window. The two double tourbillon systems are coupled via a spherical differential in the center of the timepiece. Hours and minutes are indicated by a red triangle and a rotating disk on a sub-dial at 5 o¡¯clock, which conceals the triple coaxial mainspring barrels. Sinn U1 White Limited Edition Watch Available On James List
I don't know how a watch like this slipped through the cracks. It came out just last summer as a limited edition. This is a very interesting and rare Sinn watch that is thankfully available on James List, and for not that much dough. Many of you know of the super functional and durable Frankfurt, Germany based watch maker Sinn. A few years ago they released one of their most style forward watches ever, the U1. It has a few limited editions including an all black, Sinn U Black (not typo, just "U"). Well this is another limited edition, called the Sinn U1 White (sometimes U1 Snow). It takes the almost opposite approach than that of the all back U Black. The White is a high contrast U1 model that is not only easy to read, but really stands out. White is quite a hot color right now for watches, and the U1 Snow capitalizes on that fact with a white strap and dial. The rest of the watch though is in PVD coated black. Questions on PAM 111 series
Hey guys,I've pretty much decided on the PAM 111 as my first "big boy" watch, but I'm wondering what different versions of the PAM 111 are out there. 1. I've seen a K and J series, but can someone enlighten me as to what that means?2. Also, I would like a black croc strap, but was this model ever sold with one?3. Info wanted about this Constellation
I was given this Constellation Megaquartz 32khz quite a few years ago. It was very battered with a broken bracelet. I always liked its retro looks especially the cushion face. Recently I decided to have a go at restoration and I think it came up quite nicely. I was lucky to find a crystal. In fact my Rollies have taken second place for wrist time, for the moment anyway.I was wondering if anyone can tell me a bit about this model. I think its early 70's.

So the more believable rumor is that Rolex under estimated this year¡¯s demand (based on previous year sales) which lead to the shortage we live in now and that lead some ¡°borders¡± to hord a lot of the daughters after modelsUp until a few months ago the LV, BLNR and other SS models were available (except the Daytona C)With the beginning of the new year and with supply coming to the market (hopefully) that should bring things back to stabilityThe question is........People like myself who have a deposit down on a watch (lv in my case) when/If supply is back, is it smart to buy right away at full MSRP?
